don't shoot me, it's just my opinion

If ever there was a case to be made in favor of mutiny, George W .Bush could easily be the poster child. If the United States military simply refused to keep fighting a senseless war (most wars are) there is nothing the Bush administration could do about it except whimper.
Perhaps W. would find himself charged with war crimes. He could be tossed into the same cell as Saddam. Heck, they may even get along with the exception of the language barrier. Saddam probably speaks better English.
Sorry about the ranting, but I get a little riled when reading about issues like the renewal of the so-called Patriot Act. Benjamin Franklin once said something to the effect that one who gives up freedom for safety deserves neither.

I hear that. The patriot act, what a sham, turns all of us into some kind of 'terror' suspects in one way or another. Definitely strange times we're livin' in.

it's always a trip to me that these cats who couldn't be bothered to answer the call of duty themselves (probably due to their own privelaged upper-crusty upbringings) are the first to wage these senseless wars as soon as they get the power to do so. then i look at cats like my pa and my pa-in-law and uncles and such who were too poor to head off to college and avoid the draft, who served their time heroically and without question, and are now just as baffled and disgusted with the greedlust and contempt for common sense and decency the current admin has shown as i am.

who the hell voted for these clowns? asses with heads firmly between the cheeks i guess. aye aye aye...
